It’s the first product I’ve built that has reached this milestone. Honestly, I didn’t expect this to feel so meaningful.

Last week, I told some friends that I still felt like I was just “messing around.” A more experienced builder probably would have pushed much harder from day one.

For me, this milestone matters because it forced me to do something I’m not naturally comfortable with: putting the product out there, talking about it, and asking people to try it.

I still enjoy building more than promoting. But I’m learning that you can read a lot about startups, growth, and product — and still not truly understand it until you actually do it yourself.

Joe Speaking started from my own English-speaking journey and a bit of pure curiosity. Now I believe it can become one of the best ways to practice IELTS/CELPIP Speaking, with real-time natural conversations and a practice flow that feels closer to the real test.

I’ll keep taking it step by step.
