This is the best product I have built so far.

The part I care about most is that it finally feels much closer to a real speaking test. You talk naturally with an AI examiner in real time, then immediately get your estimated score, transcript, replay, and feedback.

Over the last few weeks I have been obsessively improving the conversation quality, stability, and the whole practice loop. It is now in Public Beta, and I am genuinely excited to invite people in.

One moment that meant a lot to me: Professor David Hudson tried it yesterday, recorded a full mock test, and later told me it felt like one of the more magical AI experiences he has had. That gave me a lot of confidence that we are onto something real.

I shared this Joe Speaking introduction video at #BuilderSundays two weeks ago, and it is still the best product video I have made so far.

It was made entirely with Claude Code (Opus 4.6), using the /remotion-best-practices skill.

I’m still really proud of this one.

For me, it is another clear example of how AI expands my capabilities. It did not just help me move faster. It helped me create something better than I could have made on my own before.

More importantly, it helped me turn the feeling of Joe Speaking into something visible.
