My 2025: From Product Person to Vibe Engineer

This year flew by. AI progress didn't slow down, it accelerated.

It became my year of "vibe coding." I evolved from a product person into what I now call a vibe engineer. A year ago, I couldn't have imagined this.

AI in my hands evolved: → From proofreading → To searching and answering questions → To creating stunning images and videos → To generating over 100-page long documents and polishing them into decks and websites → To enabling me to ship software for myself and others

In past years, I'd write a year-end blog. This year, I built something more. I invite you to explore my 2025 summary website, built entirely with Claude Code, where I reflect on my journey and share the products and skills I've developed.

Claude Code is the best product of 2025, in my view. It's why I subscribed to my first $200/month plan.

I didn't expect 2025 to bring this much progress. I believe 2026 will deliver even more powerful tools. The traditional path is fading.

After years as a PM, for the first time, I have full control over my own product. I wish I'd had this feeling 10 years ago. I've never been more confident or eager to ship.

I'm building my first real commercial product, planning to ship and start alpha testing in January 2026.
