The engagement metrics are striking. In an interview, Sam Altman revealed that over 30% of Sora's active users are creators—a dramatic shift from the typical 90/9/1 rule:

• 90% of users consume content
• 9% edit or distribute content
• 1% create original content

As Altman explained: "We hoped that if we could bring the activation energy of creating down dramatically, a lot more people would do it than normally create. I haven't looked at the numbers in a few days, but in the first few days it was like 30-something percent of active users were active creators. It was just incredible."

The only issue for me was my imagination. 😂
